    With or without trimming fenders?

    I've seen 44's on a stock height.

    But without modification 33×10.5 On a 8" rim with stock offset seems to be a good rule of thumb.

    Different manufacturers measure their tires differently so youll get answers that vary.

    There's not direct answer, it all depends if your springs are still good or saggy, wheel size/BS. 31 are stock and you could go up to 33......

    guy around the way from me has a 89 on 33's at stock height. the inside corner of both his front fenders have been "massaged" a bit

    his is the one on the left, mine is on the right

    I've never had an issue with 33 x 12.50's on a 15 x 8 inch wheel unless the springs were damaged but even in that case the only time it would rub was when I was doing something that would flex the suspension and had the steering wheel cranked one direction (it was the front passenger spring that was bent).
