    Question about front Leaf Springs

I had someone the other day while working on my wheel wells say something about the leaf springs being upside down. I asked what he mean and he said they looked like a frown instead of a smile.

I am just getting into this world and I have no idea if what he was saying is true or not. Looking at my springs, the front is more frown than smile and they are on the top of the axle, a few other pics I found on this site show their underneath.

So, for those who know, is this an issue?

Stock front end. Looks fine. That's how they are.
    I don't always drive a 4x4, but when I do, it's a Chevy.

Put a lift kit on it. You can turn that frown upside down. Lol.

You don't tug on Superman's cape, you don't spit into the wind, you don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger, and you don't mess around with the Big Jimmy!

Stock front springs are arched up. ~2-2.5" lift is a flat spring. Any more than that is arched down like you're used to seeing.
