    I have one problem!
    On my '82 blazer i have front axle number (14030376, GM6, D82) and rear number (1254333, C162, GM35) and they don't mach!
    If any know where is problem, please let me know!

    No problems with the mix-match numbers front and rear,,,its all good,,,,as long as the gear ratios inside both front and rear are the same.

    Soo, I'm alittle confused,if my rear axle is gm81 and the number is 3896839 how do I check the ratio,and. I can't seem to find any other tags in it
    1978 chevy k5 blazer,350/350/203 4.56s headers true duals. restomod in progress
    1975 chevy k10 454/350/203 big mutha thumpr cam rpm airgap intake holly carb 1" spacer flowtech headers.the 35 smoker~daily driver and street terrorizer.

    Count the number of teeth on the ring, and divide that by the number of teeth on the pinion. That will give you your ratio. To get a ball park figure you can rotate the driveshaft and see how many turns it takes to complete one tire rotation. Hope this helps.

    d60 is a larger version of the d44.... cover looks almost identical...
