That is cool, nice find. Especially nice if you don't want to ditch some nice wheels you might already have with the 6 on 5.5" pattern. You could still buy new 15" wheels for less than the hubs, but I'm sure there are some people that would pay $400 to keep their nice wheels that probably cost more than that.
I think it's funny the picture shows a 5-lug pattern. I hate it when companies don't a picture of the actual component.

my thoughts were along the lines of a hub conversion to keep a project mobile, because yea some of these wheel sets do run a couple grand.... save and swap back to the 8 lug hubs when the appropriate wheel set and 3/4 ton parts for the front axle have been acquired...
i agree with the pics not being of the exact part...

Benefits
• Fits GM 14 bolt spindles
• Replaces cast units
• Converts to 5 on 5.5 wheel pattern
• Reduces axle build cost by eliminating the need to shorten housing.
so they must have a 6 x 5.5 version and a 5 x 5.5 ?
still very cool though. would be a good thing for a J**per
When the clutch drops... the bullsh*t stops
yea they have various bolt patterns.... even 6 lug hubs for the d60, but i didnt see the point in posting those... but likewise a source for new hubs of all types and bolt patterns.... http://extremeaxlesales.com/wheelhubs_1.aspx

I used this hub conversion on my 14 bolt swap. I went this route mainly for the reason Biggs says. I did the math of swapping out all 5 17" rims to eight lug and I still saved a bit of money and kept my rig down-time at a minimum. I know the eight lug is stronger off road and I would have gone that route but thinking of the down time, then acquiring an eight lug D44 or D60 front to swap in at the same time, have it re-geared possible, lockers and the money it would take to make that happen, the money wasnt there to make it happen. Maybe a few years down the road. Also, my intent for my rig, not having an eight lug hub isnt going to be an issue.
