So if anyone buys bare Pro Maxx heads or even most Dart or Brodix heads might double che k and make sure they dont need a longer valve. FWIW the spring height with the valve closed and the stock length valve was 1.65". Way too short
Pardon my ignorance, but why does it matter?
    We're working on it...

Coil bind on the spring if the cam has a bunch of lift.
If there is no coil bind, you can use .100 valve stem lash caps on them so you have the correct rocker arm alingment. Also you will need .100 longer pushrods.

I have not had an issue with stock length valves on Dart heads. The springs I used were a 1.7" installed height.

These wont work with stock height. It left my installed height at 1.65 which is way too short. Also with my cam of .554 lift and coil bind with these springs at .582 its too short. Not near enough clearance to coil bind. I prefer atleast .050 at bare minimum and really rather have .060 clearance. The reason for the longer valves is to get a taller installed height and therefore it will open up the clearances for coil bind as well. Just one of those things that rear its ugly head at times. Finally my OCD of measuring and double checking everything has paid off. Lol

Also these arent Dart heads they are copies of Darts. But every Dart head ive ever ran has had to have .100 longer valves. Including my Iron Eagle Platinum 215s. Just my experiences anyway.
